Map of Pipestone Lake:

Pipestone Lake is like no other, it is approximately 14 miles long and 6 miles wide as far as waterways around islands. Even though Pipestone Lake is a labyrinth of islands and waterways, there are areas of the lake that reach well over 200 feet deep. This deep area is a deep crevasse in the lake floor that runs down the length of the lake. In most part Pipestone Lake is shallower with millions of prime fishing areas. Pipestone is just part of the 70 miles of waterways that our guests have to explore and fish.

Only accessed by traversing over the mechanical portage, it is one of the only lakes in North America we know of that has a toll to get into it. This keeps the pressure to a very minimum keeping it a fishing paradise we have come to respect and enjoy

The depths of the lake hold great populations of Lake Trout ready to give you the fight of your life. Or maybe try tangling with the monster muskies. Muskie Experts in the know, keep this secret lake to themselves and so will you once you experience this enchanted lake. The water flow into the lake is enough to keep the water clean and fresh and supply food thus the population of game fish is unbelievable. There are massive populations of Walleye, Pike, Muskie and Smallmouth Bass and they can be caught just about anywhere. All the lakes in the chain are stuffed with fish including a couple of lakes that have great Largemouth Bass fishing.
