Many species of ducks can be harvested. Usually the Mallards and Wood Ducks show up first in early September. Following in late September and early October are Ring-necked Ducks, Bluebills, Black Ducks, Buffleheads, and Goldeneyes. Large flocks of Canada Goose and Snow Goose also stop to rest.
