Grouse are extremely common in our area of Ontario. We have hundreds of miles of game trails, ATV paths and old gravel roads to drive or walk down where you will see Grouse all over the place. In the fall you most commonly see them on the ground vs. the spring when they are up in the trees trying to find mates.
Grouse hunting was an extremely popular pastime back in the 50s and 60s and now with people adapting a healthier lifestyle, Grouse hunting is becoming very popular again. Nothing is more enjoyable than taking a leisurely walk into the forest, breathing in the crisp clean fall air, viewing the beautiful fall foliage and getting some exercise while hunting down these delicious game birds. Grouse hunters only need to purchase a small game license and can hunt in combination with a fishing vacation.
Grouse hunting is covered under our small game package.
