Lake Trout season opens January 1st. Walleye is open until April 15th with Northern Pike, Perch and Whitefish open all year. This is the prime time for ice fishing and when our guests get the best luck. Our guests catch lots of fish while ice fishing. Not only are good numbers available, guests get lunker Lake Trout, Pike and Walleyes that are so fat you can barely get them through the ice hole. Ice fishing guests are encouraged to bring their snowmobiles so they can explore many different areas of the lake. Clearwater Lake is remote so the fishing is awesome and you will not see 100 fish huts on the lake. You can snowmobile all the way to the top of Pipestone Lake.
