Some helpful tips when coming to Clearwater Lodge: When entering Canada, you are allowed to bring with you all necessary food supplies, (within reason) plus 1 carton of cigarettes and 40 ounces of alcohol per adult duty free. Additional food supplies may be acquired at Fort Frances, Emo, or Sportsman Landing on Clearwater Lake where we will then take you by boat to our resort. Licenses and alcoholic beverages may also be purchased at the landing. Items not to be brought into Canada are handguns of any type. Also on the banned list are plants or any vegetables which can be transplanted. Items that you should bring are fishing tackle, flashlight, camera, raingear, insect repellent, personal gear, warm clothing in case of cool weather, and of course, your food supplies.
