Whitetail Deer Hunting:
Northwestern Ontario has been one of the best-kept hunting secrets for Monster Whitetail Bucks for many years. Since the famous Dryden Buck was killed by poachers, all eyes have started looking at Northwestern Ontario for awesome Whitetail deer hunting opportunities. Once the news got out about this deer possibly being a new World Record, Ontario became the focus of most deer hunting circles.
In the fall we offer guests outstanding Whitetail Deer Hunting. We are located within the famous Whitetail Triangle where the biggest wild fair-chase Whitetail Bucks in North America are being harvested. Hunting magazines all over the USA and Canada have been saying this part of Ontario has the best Whitetail Deer hunting in the world.

Fortunately for our hunting guests, the mass of the visiting hunters have concentrated around Dryden over the last few years and have left the Emo area relatively quiet. Other benefits include our area being farther south with easier living conditions. Our deer have more softwood and grasses to eat, hundreds of thousands of miles of wilderness to roam and less hunting pressure. This low hunting pressure has resulted with Whitetail Bucks being left alone to mature to the age of 3 to 6 years. There are countless younger bucks but most hunters want a mature buck with a huge rack and this is the best place to get one.
Mature Whitetail Bucks in our area have thick muscular bodies and necks with powerful legs that gives them the ability to bulldoze through the thick bush with ease, no-matter how big their racks are. Even with all these qualities, it's the racks that most hunters use to measure the quality of the buck and we have quality bucks. Crashing through the bush is a lot of work for even the biggest deer so most of the time they stay along well-used game trails, which animals in the area have used for thousands of years. The only way you will find these game trails and know which ones are giving the biggest bucks full access to the bush is a professional deer-hunting guide. All our deer hunts include one guide for every two hunters. Most of our guides were born in the area and know every inch of the bush. Prior to your hunt our guides are already scouting out the best bucks.

We are allowed to use hounds, which is unique to our area of Ontario. As well as regular hunting for deer, giving our hunting guests a chance to experience an old fashion deer drive with hounds is something he/she will never forget. Once you have hunted this way and hear the bawl of the hound on the hot scent of a deer and the crashing of the buck coming through the bush right towards you, hunting will never be the same. It is truly a heart-pounding excitement that needs to be experienced to be appreciated.
