As a result, our guests enjoy catching high volumes of fish as well as big trophies. Good eating size Walleyes are plentiful with trophies over 10 pounds occasionally being caught. Giant Muskie patrol the lake like sharks; eating anything that moves. Muskie are common including a good population of 50+-inch trophies. Monster Northern Pike are the Waterwolves of the lake. They rein supreme in the weedy bays and backwater estuaries where they eat anything and can reach over 20 pounds. Fat and hard-fighting Smallmouth Bass are lords of the rocks and can be found everywhere. Smallmouth Bass are common up to 4 pounds with the occasional bass in the 5 to 8 pound class being caught.

Hunting magazines all over the USA and Canada have been saying this part of Ontario has the best Whitetail Deer hunting in the world. Black Bear Huntingin our BMA is among the best in Ontario. We take a limited amount of hunters each fall to ensure a high success rate. Black Bears in our area are common in the 225 to 375 pound range, with a couple over the years that were almost 600 pounds.
